The Cincinnati Reds look to ride the momentum from game one in their series against the Chicago White Sox, who remain on top of their division.

The Reds snapped a 3-game losing streak when they picked up the win last night against the White Sox. After falling behind 4-0 through the 4th inning, the Reds rallied and forced extra innings when they tied the game in the 8th off a Tyler Stephenson single that knocked in Michael Toglia. In the 10th, Elly De La Cruz hit a sacrifice fly that scored Matt McLain, and Emilio Pagan came in to close the game out and give the Reds the 5-4 win.

The loss for the White Sox made it their 6th of the month, compared to just 2 wins. Their lead over the Tigers in the AL Central has shrunk to just 2.5 games, and fans are getting nervous. Minnesota is just 3.5 games back, and Cleveland is 4 games. Things could get very interesting in this division over the next month. Pressure can break a mediocre ball club, and that could be exactly what is plaguing this White Sox team this month. They will look to Luis Castillo tonight in hopes that he can pitch his way to just his 4th win of the season.
