Boston Red Sox vs Cincinnati Reds Prediction & Picks - MLB

The Cincinnati Reds are on the road to start the week, in Boston for a three-game series vs. the Red Sox. Game One is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. EST at Fenway Park in Boston, MA.

Cincinnati has been playing decent ball of late, winning five of their last seven, including two of three in their weekend series vs. the Padres. They are currently four games over .500 and in fourth place in the NL Central, five games back of the Cubs.  But it has been a tougher road for Boston of late; they have lost seven of their last eight and went 1-2 in their weekend series vs. Toronto. Chase Burns will start the day on the mound for the Reds. However, his 5.40 ERA is a bit misleading.  This will be just his second start of the season; the first game was vs. the Yankees, and he went five innings while giving up six hits and three earned runs while striking out eight. Garrett Crochet will get the nod for the Red Sox; he’s 7-4 with a 2.06 ERA and 1.02 WHIP. However, despite how well he has pitched throughout the season, Crochet has yet to win a game at home.
