The Cincinnati Reds look to avoid another losing streak tonight in Arizona when they face the Diamondbacks for the 2nd game of their 3-game set.

Cincinnati lost the final game of their series with the Cardinals before heading to Arizona last night. In the loss to the Cardinals, they posted 9 runs but they gave up 6 unearned runs in the 9th inning to lose the game 10-9. Then, last night, their bats went completely quiet. They picked up 4 hits off starter Eduardo Rodriguez, but were unable to score a single run in the 9-0 loss. Nick Lodolo allowed 6 runs on 10 hits in just 3.1 innings of work. Now, the Reds will turn to Rhett Lowder to avoid a 3-game losing streak.

Speaking of losing streaks, the Diamondbacks were able to snap a 3-game losing streak with their win in the final game of their series with the Red Sox. Now, with the win last night, they have a chance to begin a winning streak for the 1st time this month. They will start Michael Soroka, who is 8-3 on the season and coming off a no-decision in his last start. These Diamondbacks are averaging 8 runs per game over their last two and look to give Soroka the support he needs tonight for his 9th win.
