The Cincinnati Bengals head East this weekend to take on the Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, MD. Kickoff for this AFC North battle is scheduled for 1 p.m. EST, with CBS providing coverage.
Cincinnati got off to a nice start with wins over the Buccaneers and Texans, but then dropped one to Pittsburgh and Jacksonville before topping the Miami Dolphins before their bye week. With 25.6 ppg, they have the NFL's 10th-scoring offense. While Joe Burrow has the passing game clicking (260 yards per game), they are struggling to run the ball (82.8 yards per game).
Baltimore has been forced to play without their MVP, superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson. He has returned to practice, but he is listed as questionable for this week against the Bengals. However, while it would be nice to have him back in the lineup, it may be wiser to get him closer to 100% before bringing him back at this early stage of the season. Tyler Huntley hasn’t been great, but he has been good enough in his stead.
Neither team looked great last week. The Bengals held on to beat Miami 31-24 while the Ravens lost to the Cleveland Browns, 13-10 (yes, the Browns).

If Lamar Jackson were starting, the bet would be easy. Between Jackson and Derek Henry, the Ravens would run for 200+ yards against this Bengals defense. But with Jackson likely out, it's less of a sure thing, mostly because we can’t count on the Ravens to lean on Derek Henry as much as they should. Joe Burrow often plays some of his best football of the season against the Ravens, though. Without Jackson, and after suffering through that dreadful game Baltimore had vs. Cleveland, I have to go with the Bengals to win.
