Chile versus Uruguay is a high-stakes matchup in Group A of the 2025 Copa America Femenina on Thursday night. Chile has been impressive in this tournament, starting with a resounding 3-0 win over Peru before losing 2-1 to Argentina. They responded by defeating the hosts, Ecuador, 2-1, positioning themselves as one of the group’s favorites. As it stands, Chile is two points ahead of Ecuador with a two-goal difference. A draw could secure their qualification to the next round.
Like Chile, Uruguay still hopes to make the knockout round. They are fourth with four points, meaning they can progress by defeating Chile.
