The Chicago White Sox continue to be the surprise team of the season. They will look to extend their current win streak when they face off with the Toronto Blue Jays this afternoon.

Chicago took control early in game one when they took a 5-0 lead through just 2 innings and never looked back. The offense lit up Toronto starter Spencer Miles for 6 runs over 4 innings. Braden Montgomery and Colson Montgomery combined to go 3-9 with 7 RBIs. Anthony Kay was decent on the mound but went just 4 innings and allowed 2 runs, so he did not factor into the decision. The win extended the White Sox's win streak to 4 games.

Toronto had lost their last 2 games of their series with the Padres and now are in the midst of a 3-game losing streak after yesterday’s loss. Over this current losing streak, the Blue Jays have allowed a combined 25 runs. No matter what they can do on offense, they have not been able to have the pitching back them up and carry them to a win recently. Things won’t get easier today. They are starting Shane Bieber, who is just 0-1 and has a 7.64 ERA over his 4 starts this season.
