The New York Yankees (45-27, 21-12 Home) will go for the series sweep today when they host the Chicago White Sox (38-34, 14-22 Away) in the third game of a three-game series at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. Gametime is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. EST, with coverage provided by MLB.TV.

This series between AL division leaders has been a good one for the AL East-leading Yankees. They took Game One on Monday with relative ease, winning 12-2. In yesterday’s game, they jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first two innings and went on to win 10-5.

New York is scheduled to send Ryan Weathers to the mound to start the day. Weathers is 2-5 in 13 starts this season with a 4.36 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP. While his stats are not bad, he has struggled in his last three starts, allowing 5+ runs in each, all losses. He is 2-3 in eight home starts with a 3.80 ERA and a .244 OBA.

As for the White Sox, Chicago has tasked Sean Burke with getting the team off to a good start on the mound. Burke is 3-4 this season in 14 starts with a 4.15 ERA and a 1.26 ERA. However, he has had his best stuff on the road, where he is 3-1 in five appearances (four starts) with a 3.60 ERA and a .242 OBA.
