Amid the multiple injuries that have once again severely plagued the Dodgers' pitching staff, manager Roberts is relieved to have Kershaw back. The veteran will be a regular starter and, so far, has been the catalyst they were looking for.

With great movement in his pitches since his return, Kershaw has posted a 4-0 record with a 3.03 ERA and a 1.19 WHIP. For the veteran, this is his fifth straight start. He'll be starting Wednesday against the White Sox while continuing his quest to reach the historic milestone of 3,000 strikeouts, which analysts agree could be the last pitcher in history to achieve given the recent changes in starting pitching management.

The White Sox are approaching 60 losses, at least one step better than last season, when they recorded their most losses in history for a single season. The White Sox will start Sean Burke, who has never faced the Dodgers.
