The Kansas City Royals (52-45 SU, 54-43 ATS) open a weekend series with the Chicago White Sox (27-71 SU, 44-54 ATS), who they've mostly shut down for the better part of a year. The White Sox's offense has been the worst in the majors by a mile, and the Royals have basically done whatever they want on the mound. In seven matchups this season, Kansas City has held Chicago to a combined nine runs.
Michael Wacha should be able to keep the Pale Hose's misery going. The journeyman pitcher has enjoyed a fine season in Kansas City, holding eight of his past nine opponents to two runs or less. He's been an excellent bet to get through at least five innings of work, and the Royals usually provide plenty of support at the plate. Kansas City has recorded the second-fewest strikeouts at the plate this season, a sign of just how well the Royals put the ball in play.

His problem has been that his team rarely gives him much in the way of offense. With Wacha pitching well and the White Sox showing no firepower whatsoever, the under makes sense as an option.
