Erick Fedde and the Chicago White Sox will look to take the 2nd game of the 3-game series in Kansas City on Friday. Fedde, who was solid in his opening start of the season, struck out 7 Tigers on his way to 4 2/3 innings of work and allowing just 2 runs. This Royals lineup has only 2 players that have face Fedde previously. Hunter Renfroe and Adam Frazier have gone a combined 4-9 against Fedde. As a team, the White Sox have an abysmal .244 OBP and have struck out 47 times compared to drawing just 11 walks. They will need more than that to steal a road win here over the Royals. For KC, Brady Singer will look to capitalize on what was one of his best starts of his career. He was dominate against the Twins, striking out 10 in 7 shutout innings. He allowed just 3 hits and 1 walk. The offense has been led by Bobby Witt Jr and his .400 batting average but has not gotten much help from the rest of the lineup. Salvador Perez is the only other Royals hitter that is above .300 on the season.
