Golden State Valkyries (6-6) and Chicago Sky (3-8) will clash at the Chase Center. The Valkyries are doing pretty well this season, with many already tipping them to make the postseason tournament. They combine a highly efficient attacking approach with excellent rebound ability at both ends of the court to maximize their chances on a game-by-game basis. Their fast start to the season is certainly not a fluke.
Chicago Stars, on the other hand, have seen their last season's struggles spill over to the 2025 campaign. They are still adjusting to the demands of their new coach and a revamped squad. The season-ending knee injury to their all-time assist maker, Courtney Vandersloot, only adds to their struggles this season. Tyler Marsh undoubtedly has the challenge of getting his new side firing again and turning around their season.
