Chicago Stars could revive their season with a win when they host KC Current on Saturday night at the SeatGeek Stadium. KC Current, meanwhile, have managed to recover from their recent struggles to hold on to their top spot. They lost back-to-back games against Seattle Reign and North Carolina Courage, allowing their opponents to close in on the top spot. However, KC Current have since rediscovered their winning touch to back their last two games, including a vital 1-0 away win over Orlando Pride. They are now four points ahead of the second-placed San Diego Wave.
