The Athletics are getting everything ready for what will be their first series in their new temporary home, Sacramento's Sutter Health Park, while their move to Las Vegas is completed. Starting Monday, they will host the Cubs, who have a 2-4 record in the 2025 MLB season following the Tokyo Series.

There has been much discussion about whether Sacramento's Sutter Health Park will be a hitters' park, rather than a pitchers' park like the Oakland Coliseum was for years with its long stretches of foul land. However, the dimensions of the temporary park are similar to the previous one, and with a lower altitude, it shouldn't be a particularly special park in any way.

Offensively, the Athletics rely heavily on what Booker and Butler can produce. In Game 4 of the series against the Mariners, the two went 0-for-8 with two strikeouts. However, they won 2 of 4 games in Seattle when they were not betting favorites in any of them, and Soderstrom has been the team's hot bat in the first week, already having 3 HRs to his name.
