The Yankees and Cubs will decide their weekend series on Sunday, after the Yankees won 11-0 in the first game and the Cubs 2-5 in the first game on Saturday.

Aaron Boone's team was finally able to break out of their slump. It all started with Bellinger's great defensive play to salvage the final run of the series against the Mets in Queens. Hits and home runs returned as they swept the Mariners. Having split games against the Cubs, the Yankees still haven't fully recovered from their slump that temporarily cost them the division lead to the Blue Jays.

However, good things are also happening for the Yankees, who lost Game 2 against the Cubs due largely to a spectacularly unexpected outing by Boyd. The Cubs pitcher pitched eight scoreless innings, but here's what stood out for the Yankees: Judge became the fastest player in history to reach 350 home runs, and Bellinger kept alive a 17-game hitting streak, the longest of his career.
