The Los Angeles Dodgers (18-9, 10-4 Home) will go for the series win Sunday night when they host the Chicago Cubs in Game Three of their three-game weekend series. First Pitch is scheduled for 4:10 p.m. EST at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, CA, with coverage provided by MLB.TV.
Chicago struck first in Saturday’s game with a run in the top of the second and had a 3-2 lead through the top half of the fourth inning. But then the Dodgers' lineup exploded for six runs in the bottom of the fourth and never looked back. Four more runs for LA in the bottom of the sixth closed out the scoring and made the final 12-4.
If the starting pitchers live up to their current stat lines, go ahead and take the under. Chicago is giving the ball to Shota Imanaga to start the day. Imanaga is 2-1 through five starts with a 2.17 ERA and a .72 WHIP. He’s gone at least six innings in each of his last three games. As for the Dodgers, they are expected to give the ball to Justin Wrobleski to start the day. Wrobleski has been great since transitioning to a starting role, pitching deep into his last two starts (seven and eight innings) and giving up one earned run in the two games.

It is not hard to understand why the public is leaning so heavily on the OVER. The Dodgers just covered the OVER on their own, after all, and have one of the most potent lineups in the game. But it is also coming off a four-game stretch in which it scored eight runs. It’s good, but it’s also human. Shota Imanaga is off to a great start this season and has a solid history against the Dodgers. Justin Wrobleski has given up two runs over his last three outings (19 total innings). If there were ever two pitchers that could quiet down a hard-hitting lineup, it’s these two.
