Expectations aren't particularly high for either the Bulls or the Bucks; both are in rebuilding phases. However, losing by 43 points to the Raptors wasn't the start the Bulls were hoping for. Meanwhile, the Bucks, in their first game since Antetokounmpo's departure, lost to the Wizards in their season opener.
There was, and still is, a lot of hype surrounding the Bulls' 20-year-old Caleb Wilson, who certainly didn't have a great time in his NBA debut. Against Toronto, he shot 7-for-20 and committed 9 turnovers, while the Bulls struggled with the ball, committing a whopping 27.
Meanwhile, the Bucks lost but saw the best of their star, Tyler Herro, who scored 24 points, dished out 9 assists, and grabbed two rebounds. Milwaukee traded Antetokounmpo for him and other pieces. It was actually a close game, with the Bucks leading for much of the night in DC until the Wizards took control in the fourth quarter.
