The Chicago Bears will try to raise their record above .500 as they play the fast-rising Washington Commanders on Monday at Northwest Stadium.

Hot off back-to-back wins, the Bears are currently listed at +188 road underdogs against the Commanders (-255), who demolished the LA Chargers last week.

The Bears improved their record to 2-2 after edging the Las Vegas Raiders, 25-24, two weeks ago. DeAndre Swift was the hero of the match, converting on a two-yard TD run to put his team ahead by one with 1.34 left on the clock. Caleb Williams reached the 200-yard mark for the fourth consecutive game, throwing for 212 yards on 22-for-37 passing with one TD and one interception. Chicago ranks 14th in the NFL in passing yards (225.8), 24th in rushing yards (102.3), and 11th in points per game (25.3). On the downside, the Bears are the third-worst defensive team, giving up 29.3 points per game.

With Josh Daniels back in the fold, the Commanders are formidable again. Last week, the second-year quarterback dazzled on the field, covering 231 yards on 15-for-26 passing with one TD to power Washington to a 27-10 victory over the Chargers. Running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt also played big time, running for 111 yards and two TDs. The Commanders rank 23rd in passing yards (192.6), but they are the No.1 running team in football, averaging 156.4 rushing yards per game. They are also averaging 26.8 points per game (8th) while giving up 20.2 points per game (9th).
