Tottenham will be looking to keep their Champions League hopes alive when they travel to Stamford Bridge on Thursday to take on a Chelsea team with European aspirations of their own. Sunday's defeat in the North London Derby has left Spurs seven points behind Aston Villa in the race for fourth place and a spot in next season's Champions League. Realistically, they will need to be perfect in their final five games to have any chance of overhauling Villa. 

Meanwhile, Chelsea can still squeeze into a top six position and secure a place in the Europa League. They are currently in 9th, but just six points behind sixth placed Manchester United with a game in hand. It has been a turbulent season for the Blues, but they have been in good form at home this year and will be confident of finishing the season in style. 

When the two sides met earlier in the season, Chelsea won an incident packed game 4-1. Spurs had two players sent off, before a late Nicholas Jackson hattrick secured the three points for Chelsea.
