The Magic welcome the Hornets to the Amway Center. Thanks to the exceptional performance of Paolo Banchero, Orlando has managed to climb into the Top 6 in the East with an impressive 40-28 record. While few would have bet on this team at the start of the season, it has proved its potential and moved up among the playoff contenders. Fans can now dream of qualifying for the postseason and hope to see their team perform miracles on the floor. With Banchero's talent and determination, nothing is impossible for the Magic.

For the Hornets, the current season will unfortunately be one to forget. With a 17-51 record, the team struggled to find its cohesion and achieve positive results throughout the season. Despite the best efforts of players and staff, Charlotte failed to compete with the best teams in the league and are nowhere near the playoffs. The Hornets will need to redouble their efforts and rethink their strategy if they are to bounce back to a level worthy of the name.
