Charlotte FC will make a stop across the border to play Nashville in a traditional Saturday night MLS clash. Charlotte FC are coming off a big 2-0 win over Portland at home. The victory was a relieving sight to see for Charlotte supporters who last witnessed a humiliating 3-0 loss to Minnesota United on their home turf. Yet their MLS season has been much brighter, as the still-young MLS side finds themselves in the top 6 of the Eastern Conference. Nashville, meanwhile, has only had two wins so far and advanced statistics indicate they are one of the worst defensive teams in the country. That being said, they’ve only conceded one goal in each of their last two games, coming out victorious 4-1 over Montreal last time out. It’s Hany Mukhtar who has been missing in action so far, a star midfielder whose 2 goals are lackluster given his lofty expectations. Number 9 Sam Surridge has picked up the slack for Nashville, scoring 5 on the season.
