Red-hot Union SG face their toughest test of the season on Thursday, when they take on Spanish side Celta Vigo at the Estadio de Balaídos.
After three rounds of fixtures, Union are currently riding high in sixth place after picking up two wins and a draw. That excellent European form has been replicated domestically, and the Swiss side are now unbeaten in 13 games, since bowing out of the Champions League at Bodo/Glimt in August.
Celta's 3-0 loss at Real Vallecano on Saturday dropped Claudio Giráldez's side down to tenth in the La Liga standings. However, Celta did produce an excellent display in their last Europa League game to defeat Celtic 1-2 at Parkhead. That victory was the Spanish side's first in the competition this season. They will need to produce a similar level of performance on Thursday to have any chance of taking points from one of the competition's most in-form teams.
