Canada earned their way to Paris after clinching bronze in last year’s FIBA World Cup in Manila. Their qualification in the Olympics marks a golden age for Canadian Basketball, who parades a lineup full of high-caliber NBA talents like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jamal Murray and Dillon Brooks. Canada lost their first exhibition match against the Americans, 72-86, and won their last two tune-up games against France 85-73, and Puerto Rico 103-93.
