The clay-court event in Bastad, Sweden, known also as the Nordea Open, is now really heating up, and we've reached the final four. Well, the rankings say the Argentine, who is the current world number 59. The Dutchman is currently ranked as the 106th best male player in the world.
Carabelli secured his semi spot by beating Misolic in straight sets, confirming his superior ranking, as he has done in all three matches in Bastad. De Jong beat a higher-ranked player, but can he do that again? This won't be the first time that the pair have met on clay, it'll actually be the fifth. Carabelli has won three of the previous four, which is not easy to ignore, let's be honest.
