Novak Djokovic will try to punch his ticket to the final of the 2025 Geneva Open on Friday when he tussles with Cameron Norrie of Great Britain.
Djokovic earned a sweet revenge on Thursday as he toppled his Madrid Open conqueror, Matteo Arnaldi, in straight sets, 6-4 6-4, to reach the semis at Geneva. Djokovic had been a recipient of stunning losses in the second round of big tournaments during the clay-court swing of the ATP Tour, bowing first to Alejandro Tabilo of Chile 6-3 6-4 at Monte Carlo and Arnaldi 6-4 6-4. However, the 24-time Grand Slam champion showed in his recent match that he has a lot left in the tank, as he scored 25 points off his first serves and broke serve three times to dispatch his Italian tormentor.
Meanwhile, Norrie scored five consecutive victories to reach the final four stage at the Geneva Open. The former top-10 player downed Alexei Popyrin of Australia 7-6(6) 6-4 in the quarterfinal round, roughly 24 hours after edging Tomas Machac 3-6 6-2 4-3 ret. in the second round.

Our Cameron Norrie vs Novak Djokovic Prediction
Fearless Forecast: Novak Djokovic cruises through to the final with a straight-set win over Cameron Norrie
Why we should bet on Novak Djokovic to cover +4.5 Games: Djokovic’s victory over Arnaldi indicates that the former world's No.1 is starting to find his groove on the red dirt. In his rematch against the Italian, Djokovic conceded only one break point and delivered the points that mattered the most in the pivotal juncture of the match. Norrie is not a pushover. He deserves to be in the semifinal after posting five consecutive wins while dropping only one set. However, head-to-head record shows that Djokovic has dominated him in all four meetings, including their first clash on clay in the fourth round of the 2023 Rome Masters, 6-3 6-4. Norrie might have the momentum, but a resurging Djokovic is out to make a statement win on Thursday.
