The Buffalo Sabres will look to extend their franchise-record road point streak to 13 games on Saturday against the Los Angeles Kings at Crypto.com Arena.
Buffalo has been the best team in the NHL since December, climbing to the top of the Atlantic Division with 92 points. After failing to qualify for the playoffs for 14 consecutive years, the team is suddenly in contention for finishing with the best regular-season record in the league. The league-leading Colorado Avalanche currently hold only a six-point lead over the Sabres.
As a great road team, the Sabres are in a very good position to add two more points to their tally on Saturday. In a matchup with the Kings, Lindy Ruff’s men face a side that has won just 10 home games this season. Only the Vancouver Canucks (8) and New York Rangers (9) have enjoyed less home success in 2025-26.
Overall, the Kings have won just five games in 2026, making backing the Sabres an attractive option for bettors again. They have been nearly unbeatable on the road since mid-January, going 12-0-1 across their last 13 away outings.
