The Seattle Seahawks will have a hard time ending their two-game home losing streak when they host the Buffalo Bill at Lumen Field this week. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. ET, and the game will be broadcast on FOX.
Seatle got off to a solid start this season, winning three in a row, but then lost three in a row before getting back on the right side of the scoreboard last week against the Atlanta Falcons (34-14). Geno Smith and the passing game have been on fire for most of the season; he leads the league in passing yards with 1,985 yards. But generating offense and scoring points has not been an issue for the 'Hawks—stopping their opponents has been. Their opponents scored 54 points in their four wins but allowed 107 points in their three losses.
That could be an issue with Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills coming to town.
The Bills are not even in the upper half of the league in total offense (No 19) but have the fifth-best scoring offense in the league at 28.4 ppg. It took a few games for the passing attack to find some life. But after throwing for under 200 yards in three of the first four games, Allen has thrown for 215 and 300+ yards in the last two weeks. After acquiring Amari Cooper recently, the passing game will only get better.

Buffalo's offense has been good, and as they integrate Amari Cooper into the lineup, it will only get better. We will probably see some of that progress this week now that Cooper has had a full week of practice with Josh Allen. Seattle should have some success in the passing game vs. the Bills, but they may have to do so without the services of DK Metcalf (grade 1 MCL sprain).
Seattle is good, but Buffalo is better.
