The Brooklyn Nets (0-2) visit the San Antonio Spurs (2-0) in an NBA 2025-26 game on Sunday, October 26, at the Frost Bank Center.
After two wins on the road, Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs will finally make their home debut this season. In their most recent game, they carved out a 120-116 overtime win over the New Orleans Pelicans. It was a close match throughout, and the Spurs managed to win even with Wembanyama fouling out a bit early.
Still, Wembanyama produced a game-high 29 points on 56.5% shooting from the field. The 7-foot-5 French center also flirted with a triple-double, adding 11 rebounds and 9 blocks to his tally. Devin Vassell and Stephon Castle contributed 23 and 16 points, respectively, while Luke Kornet added 14 points and 12 boards.
The Spurs will be facing the Nets next, who have lost their first two games of the season. They recently lost a 131-124 decider to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Nets trailed by 22 points entering the fourth quarter, before attempting a failed comeback.
Despite the loss, the Nets saw two of their top players show out. Cam Thomas topscored with 33 points and 9 assists, while newly-acquired forward Michael Porter put up 31 markers on 5-10 shooting from the three-point line.
