The Brooklyn Nets (1-10) visit the Orlando Magic (6-6) in an NBA 2025-26 game on Friday, November 14, at the Kia Center.
The Magic look to move above .500 at home after an impressive 124-107 road win over the New York Knicks. They controlled the second half of that game but unfortunately lost star forward Paolo Banchero to a groin injury.
Banchero played 12 minutes in the win against the Knicks, but exited early. He will miss at least one game, which forces him to sit out Friday's match against the Nets.
With Banchero out, the Magic will rely more on Franz Wagner and Desmond Bane on offense.
On the other side, the Nets continue to search for answers after a 119-109 home loss to the Toronto Raptors. Michael Porter Jr and Nic Claxton tallied 21 points apiece in the loss, while rookie guard Egor Demin produced an all-around stat line of 16 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists.
With scoring guard Cam Thomas sitting out due to an injury, offense is difficult to come by consistently for the Nets. It also doesn't help that they have the league-worst defensive rating (126.5), which the Magic will look to exploit on Friday.
