The Brooklyn Nets (2-12) visit the Boston Celtics (8-7) in an NBA 2025-26 game on Friday, November 21, at TD Garden.
The Celtics look to build on their recent surge and protect home court when they host the Nets for the second straight meeting. Earlier this week, Boston earned a 113-99 road victory over Brooklyn at Barclays Center.
The game was tight through three quarters before the Celtics’ offense clicked at the right time, closing the night with a dominant 24-14 fourth quarter sparked by Jaylen Brown and Derrick White.
Brown, who is averaging 27.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 4.1 assists so far this season, continues to carry the offensive load for Boston. His offensive production is much-needed, as the Celtics continue to miss injured superstar forward Jayson Tatum.
As for the Nets, they dropped to 2-12 with that loss and remain winless at home this season. In the recent loss to the Celtics, the Nets actually entered the fourth quarter with a chance to steal a win before late-game turnovers and cold shooting doomed them.
Michael Porter Jr. led the Nets with 25 points in that contest and is averaging 24.2 points and 7.7 rebounds this season. However, his production hasn’t been enough to offset the team’s defensive and rebounding woes.
