One of Sunday’s three Premier League early kickoffs takes place on the south coast, where Brighton host Nottingham Forest at Amex Stadium.
The Seagulls returned to winning ways last time out, away at Brentford, following a winless streak of six matches. Can they carry the same approach into their next home game, and give the fans more than one goal and the three points - both of which they’ve only done once in their last six home games?
In contrast to their flying performances in the Europa League, in which they’ve often won by multiple goals, Nottingham Forest can’t seem to make the same impact in league games, both in terms of goalscoring and results. In the league, The Tricky Trees haven’t managed to find a win for over a month at the time of this game.
Both Brighton and Forest are sitting in unsatisfactory rankings at present, well into the bottom half. I imagine both will see this as a chance for points, which often means neither side will want to give much away.

Our Brighton vs Nottingham Forest Prediction
Forest played on Thursday, a tough game to protect their ticket to the UEL Round-of-16, so they may not be at 100% this weekend. They have been focusing on their continental campaign, meaning they often haven’t been very intense in their league games.
The visitors have failed to score in their last two league games, even when hosting the lowest ranking team in the league. Also, they have only scored more than one goal in two out of their last 11 EPL games.
Brighton may have only kept three home clean sheets this season, but all three have come in six home games against the most relevant teams. The home side themselves have failed to score in three out of their last four, so above all I think the early odds are underestimating the chance of a more low-key affair.
