The MLB regular season has concluded, setting record audiences and views across numerous platforms, but the anticipation will be even greater, as amidst the exciting playoff series, the baseball world will be focused on one in particular: the Red Sox vs. Yankees, a three-game wild-card series between the classic rivals in the Bronx.

Both the Red Sox and the Yankees had their ups and downs in the regular season, but their most consistent performer in both cases was a starting pitcher, and they will be on each side opening the series in a spectacular pitching duel between Garret Crochet for Boston and Max Fried for the Yankees.

Crochet told the media that he always "wanted to be the guy who opens a playoff series"; on Tuesday, he will, in fact, have that chance.
