Boston came into the series having lost three straight but quickly turned things around with a 6-3 victory. As a follow-up, they won a pitcher’s duel on Friday, 1-0, with an RBI double in the seventh. With the wins, the Red Sox improved to 70-59, five back in the AL East but with a 1.5 game lead in the wild card race.  Garrett Crochet will start the day on the mound for Boston.
