Los Angeles Dodgers vs Boston Red Sox Prediction & Picks - MLB

The Los Angeles Dodgers (58-41) are looking to sweep the Boston Red Sox (53-44) on Sunday night. In game one, the Dodgers trailed 1-0 into the 8th before Freddie Freeman sent a Bernnan Bernardino ball to deep right for a grand slam which ended the scoring for the game as the Dodgers won 4-1. In game two, both teams had their bats going as they combined for 22 hits and 13 runs. The Dodgers walked it off in the 11th on a Will Smith RBI single. This matchup features lineups that are both in the top 10 in batting average and top 5 in slugging percentage. Things will not be easy for either starting pitcher. Kutter Crawford (6-7, 3.04). Over his last 4 starts, he has been nearly unhittable. He has gone 21.1 innings and has allowed 1 run on just 10 hits while striking out 17. He has won all 3 of his last 3 starts. He will be opposed here by the Dodgers’ James Paxton (7-2, 4.38). Paxton has been no where near as good as Crawford. However, he has done decent work over his last 2 starts that came after his worst start of the season against the Giants. He allowed 9 runs in 4 innings against the Giants but has since gone 8.2 innings and allowed 5 runs and not factored into either decision.
