The Los Angeles Lakers (34-21, 16-10 Home) will have a tough matchup on hand when they host the Boston Celtics (36-19, 18-10 Away) on Sunday. Tipoff at the crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, CA, is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. EST, with coverage provided by NBC.
The Lakers got the second half of the season off to an exciting start with a 125-122 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night. It was a rare game with LeBron James, Luka Doncic, and Austin Reaves in the lineup. As could be expected, Doncic led the way with 38 points, six rebounds, and 11 assists, followed by Reaves with 29 points, and James kicked in a double-double with 13 points and 11 assists. Boston didn’t face as much of a challenge in their first post-break outing vs. the Golden State Warriors with Steph Curry still out. They got ahead early but had to hold on late to win by 11, 121-110, as the Warriors outscored them 37-19 in the fourth quarter.
This will be the second of two games scheduled between these old rivals this season. The Celtics won the first game back in December in Boston, 126-105.

So, the starting lineup Boston will face this time will be much improved over the first game. The Celtics are a great team, but so are the Lakers. At least they are when the roster is healthy.
