The Boston Celtics (24-14) visit the Indiana Pacers (8-31) in an NBA 2025-26 game on Monday, January 12, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

The Pacers stake their rare two-game winning streak when they host the Celtics on Monday. Recently, they carved a dominant 123-99 victory over the Miami Heat. The Pacers led wire-to-wire, using a balanced offensive attack to dismantle the Heat's defense and secure their second straight win.

Andrew Nembhard, who has taken on increased playmaking responsibilities, led the Pacers with a season-high 29 points and 9 assists.

Still, the Pacers enter Monday's game with a short-handed roster. Pacers star guard Tyrese Haliburton remains out for the season with an Achilles injury. The team is also missing key contributors Bennedict Mathurin, Obi Toppin, and Isaiah Jackson.

As for the Celtics, they are coming off a 100-95 defeat at the hands of the San Antonio Spurs. Jaylen Brown had another good game of 27 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists, while Derrick White contributed 29 points. However, the Celtics did not get significant contributions from their bench.

The Celtics will remain without Jayson Tatum, with Brown and Sam Hauser listed as questionable. 

Boston owns the season head-to-head advantage against Indy, winning their first two matches this year.
