The pressure is off for Borussia Dortmund! They had been battling with Leipzig in the Bundesliga for a place in the top four, historically synonymous with the Champions League, but the Bundesliga has validated their fifth-place finish as qualification for Europe's most prestigious competition. With a twelve-point lead over the next German team, it's quite possible that Edin Terzic will decide to rest a few of his key players ahead of their upcoming (and far more consequential) second leg against Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes. Having won the first leg with a convincing 1-0 performance, BVB is aiming to boost their confidence by also winning this next match in their home league. It's up to the yellow and blacks to maintain the same level of play against Augsburg as they showed against PSG and avoid any slip-ups at the end of normal time.

Fortunately for the home team, FCA hasn’t been playing well lately, winning just once in their last four outings, including two straight defeats by the Werder Bremen-Frankfurt duo. Suffice it to say that Jesse Thorup's men are not finishing the season well.
