To avoid being relegated to the Copa Sudamericana, Boca Juniors has no choice but to win this Thursday when they host Universidad Católica in their sixth and final group stage match of the 2026 Copa Libertadores.

The “Xeneize” defense has looked porous recently and has conceded goals, as evidenced by their last five matches, in which they allowed at least one goal in each game, though they managed to score in at least four of those matches. For “Católica,” having Fernando Zampedri in attack is almost a guarantee of one goal per match, as he has scored 18 goals in 23 games this year. However, defensively, the team has struggled, conceding goals in 12 of their 13 away matches this season.
