Meanwhile, Belgium is coming off a 71-64 victory over Iceland. They actually trailed from the first to third quarters, only to make a 23-12 run in the final period. Emmanuel Lecomte led Belgium's charge with 16 points, 4 rebounds, and 6 assists, while Jean-Marc Mwema and Ismael Bako contributed 13 and 10 markers, respectively.
With the win over Iceland, Belgium improved their record to 1-1. However, they're up for a tough task as they lost to Slovenia, 88-72, in their previous game during the 2022 EuroBasket.
