Xavi's team is now 11 points behind the Madrid club with six rounds left in the season and is facing a trophyless season. However, Robert Lewandowski and his teammates are determined to finish the 2023-2024 season well and aim for a fifth home win in their last six games after victories against Getafe (4-0), Mallorca (1-0), Naples (3-1) in the Champions League, and Las Palmas (1-0). Valencia FC, currently 8th, is just one point behind Real Betis and the seventh European spot. The Valencian club has only taken 6 points out of 15 available on the road in recent weeks. After failures in the capital against Atlético Madrid (2-0), at Las Palmas (2-0), and at Villarreal (1-0), the team coached by Ruben Baraja bounced back with consecutive wins at Granada (0-1) and at Osasuna (0-1). Unfortunately, this performance in the Basque country was not confirmed as Valencia FC was then beaten by Real Betis (1-2), who stole the seventh spot during this last matchday.
