Barcelona is looking to make it three wins from their opening three matches as they welcome Rayo Vallecano to the Nou Camp. After beating Elche 5-0, followed by a 2-0 victory against Athletic Bilbao, Barca has started their title defence in superb fashion. They're up against a side who are yet to register a win so far this season. Los Franjirrojos were beaten on opening day away at Sevilla and could only muster a 1-1 draw at home to Alaves last time out. It's hard to imagine Vallecano getting anything out of this one.
Barca has won four and drawn two of the last six matches between the two sides. This fixture rarely provides a huge number of goals, though. In fact, in only two of the last six meetings has over 2.5 goals been scored. This fixture last season yielded just the one goal in a 1-0 Barcelona victory back in March. Vallecano don't tend to concede many. Last season, Los Franjirrojos conceded 44 goals in their 38 La Liga matches, the joint third-best defensive record in the Spanish top flight. They just don't score many, either.
