One of the most finely balanced UEFA Champions Round-of-16 ties is the one between Barcelona and Newcastle, which will conclude on Wednesday, when the teams will meet at the iconic venue of Camp Nou. 

Having met in the north east of England a week ago, the pair will continue to do battle and there really is little between the two after that 1-1 tie. Several of the Round-of-16 ties are seemingly done and dusted ahead of the first leg, but not this one. These two teams still have every reason to go all out on Wednesday. 

Eddie Howe’s men must’ve thought that they’d gained a narrow advantage as the clock ticked beyond the 90th minute, with a single-goal lead courtesy of Harvey Barnes’ 86th-minute strike, but the team from Catalonia had other ideas, equalizing via a Lamine Yamal penalty deep into stoppage time.
