The Baltimore Ravens (4-2 SU, 3-2-1 ATS) visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-2 SU, 4-2 ATS) in a matchup of division champions from a year ago. The Ravens seem to be hitting their stride after an 0-2 start and appear to be well on their way to another appearance in the playoffs. These are not the same Ravens who used to win with defense; Lamar Jackson is hitting on all cylinders and Baltimore has scored no less than 28 points in its past four games.
The Ravens’ defense has been a bit more suspect. Other than a rout of the Buffalo Bills at home, the Ravens have allowed at least 20 points in every game they’ve played. Baltimore’s biggest problem is that it cannot defend the pass, as the Ravens rank 31st against the pass this season. Given that Tampa Bay throws the ball fairly well, this could be another high-scoring game.

The Bucs are going to need more from their defense and a big game from Baker Mayfield. Tampa Bay tends to win with its ground game, but the Ravens defend the run very well and aren’t likely to give up much there. Baltimore is very susceptible to the pass, and if the Bucs are willing to take chances, they’re likely to find plenty of options there.
Tampa Bay hasn’t exactly been gun-shy there. The Bucs have scored 30 or more in four of their six games this week, including three of their four wins. They’re moving the ball well and can beat teams with either the run or the pass.
