The Baltimore Orioles (23-12 SU, 21-14 ATS) conclude their short series against their Beltway rivals, the Washington Nationals (18-17 SU, 22-13 ATS). The Orioles instantly lost some momentum after sweeping Cincinnati by dropping their first game in Washington, which has been surprisingly competitive. The Nationals have gotten themselves above .500 and have won four of their past six series.
Mitchell Parker has been one of the reasons for the Nationals’ success. He’s in his first year on the mound in the majors and has shown he’s ready for this stage. Washington has gotten four solid starts and three wins from Parker, who hasn’t given up more than three runs in a start. He features excellent control and has yet to allow a home run, getting many of his outs on the ground.
