The Mariners and Orioles meet again less than a week after splitting a four-game series at Camden Yards. Thereafter, the Mariners traveled to Washington and lost a series to the Nationals, suffering a 10-1 blowout in the decisive game. Meanwhile, the Orioles, who started their series by beating the Padres, ended up losing it, meaning Baltimore has only won one series in June so far.

The Mariners have suffered injuries, some serious and some minor, to some of their stars. Randy Arozarena had hamstring tightness and is looking to recover. Naylor took a foul ball to his leg and is day-to-day. J.P. Crawford, who has a hand injury, will not play on Tuesday.

In more encouraging news for Seattle, Cal Raleigh could return. The catcher, who led the league in home runs last season, was unrecognizable at the plate in 2026 and, after a long slump, suffered an oblique injury. Finally, at least in the minor leagues, Raleigh has regained his home run rhythm and should appear in the lineup for the series against the Orioles.
