With the threat of inclement weather on Saturday, MLB has decided to schedule a doubleheader for the Baltimore Orioles and New York Yankees today. Game 2 is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. EST at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, NY. Coverage will be provided by MLB.TV.

Baltimore has announced that Brandon Young will start the game on the mound. Young has gone 9-5 this season in 27 starts with a 3.62 ERA and a 1.36 WHIP. Teams have hit .255 against him this season. He has often been at his best when pitching on the road, where he is 7-1 in 12 starts while posting a 3.27 ERA and a .254 OBA.

This will be Young’s second start of the season against the Yankees. He last started against them on May 11 in Baltimore. He went 5 1/3 innings, surrendering three hits and three walks along with two earned runs.

The Yankees have yet to announce who will start the game on the mound for them. It would not be shocking to see them go with another bullpen day like in Game 1. After all, they have had one of the best bullpens in baseball this season (28-25 with a 3.15 ERA, a 1,21 WHIP, and a .224 OBA.
