We have what could be the makings of an intriguing matchup on the mound today. Bailey Ober (7-3 in 17 starts with a 4.45 ERA) is scheduled to start for the Twins. Brandon Young (8-3 in 19 starts with a 3.43 ERA) is expected to get the start for the Orioles. Ober has often had his best stuff at home, where he is undefeated (5-0) in nine starts with a .194 OBA. Yes, the Twins won in convincing fashion last night, 9-5, but I’d say their edge in this game is just slight. Despite last night’s performance, I’d say neither team is hitting great right now. However, while Brandon Young has been a good pitcher on the road, Bailey Ober is undefeated at home. For that reason, I’m going with Minnesota to win. But since we can’t trust the lineup to take care of business, I have to go with the moneyline rather than the run line.
