The Bucks enthusiastically welcomed back Giannis Antetokounmpo after the Greek Freak missed 15 games this season. Despite his limited minutes, Giannis Antetokounmpo managed to score 19 points, but it was not enough to avert Milwaukee's loss to Boston. The Bucks fell 108-81 at home, their third straight loss, leaving them in 11th place in the Eastern Conference. They return to action Wednesday in a close matchup against the Hawks.
This season, the Bucks had a 15-16 record with Antetokounmpo on the court, winning 11 and losing 18 without the superstar. Even so, the Bucks were on the losing end of a 24-5 run the Celtics used to open Monday's game. Antetokounmpo admitted to feeling rusty and happy to be back in action but also a bit out of rhythm due to the high number of games he's missed.
The Hawks already beat the Bucks this season, 112-110, and on Monday they routed the Blazers, beating them 135-101 with a 44-point first quarter.
