The Atlanta Falcons (1-2, 1-1 Away) will try to make it two in a row when they take on the Saints (1-2, 0-1 Home) at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, LA, on Monday Night Football. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. EST on ESPN.
Atlanta struggled in the first two weeks of the season after being forced to start their QB3, Cooper Rush, losing their opener to the Steelers (20-13) and getting dominated 34-3 by the Panthers in Week 2. But then they got Michael Penix Jr. back in Week 3 and dominated the Green Bay Packers 35-14. As for the Saints, after losing their opener to the Lions in overtime, 31-30, they got their first win of the season in Week 2 over Baltimore, 24-17. But then they struggled against the Raiders last week and lost 35-27.
For the Falcons, it's been the Bijan Robinson show on offense; through Week 3, he has accounted for 447 total yards (349 rushing, 118 receiving). But they’ll need their pass defense to be on point against a Saints pass game led by Tyler Shough that’s averaging over 300 yards per game. The Atlanta defense currently ranks No. 29 in the NFL against the pass (263 yards per game allowed).

Our New Orleans Saints vs Atlanta Falcons Prediction
It is hard to know just what we have in the Atlanta Falcons at this point in the season. With Cooper Rush at QB for the first two weeks, the offense was certainly hamstrung. But will we see the version we saw against the Packers last week on MNF? That’s hard to say. But their defense has struggled against the pass, which is the bread and butter of a Kellen Moore offense, which Tyler Shough is running well. Losing Travis Etienne will sting, but maybe not if it just means getting Alvin Kamara the ball more.
I like what we saw in the Atlanta offense last week, but I think Tyler Shough will have a day against the ATL secondary. He’ll lead his team to a high-scoring win by at least a field goal.
