The Atlanta Braves (48-31, 24-17 Away) will try to get back on track today when they play in Game 1 of a three-game weekend series against the San Francisco Giants (33-47, 16-21 Home). Fans can follow the action on MLB.TV once the game gets underway at 10:15 p.m. EST.

The NL East-leading Braves have hit a rough patch of late, losing their last four games, including getting swept by the Padres in San Diego this week. San Francisco got their home stand off to a nice start with a pair of wins over the A’s, but dropped the series finale on Thursday, 9-6.

Atlanta appears to be going with a bullpen day, with Reynaldo Lopez scheduled to start. Lopez has appeared in 18 games and started five. In those appearances, he has pitched 43 2/3 innings and recorded a 3.50 ERA and a 1.37 WHIP. On the road, he has gone 1-1 in eight appearances (three starts) with a 3.57 ERA and a .264 OBA.

San Francisco is scheduled to give Trevor McDonald the start. He has gone 2-5 in nine starts with a 4.93 ERA and a 1.34 WHIP. He has not had his best stuff at home, where he is 1-3 in four starts with a 6.10 ERA and a .218 OBA.
