When the Braves and Phillies met in Atlanta for the first time this year, the home team won an entertaining and close 2-1 series. But now it's the Phillies' turn to host the Braves at Citizens Banks Park, and the battle between the Phillies, Braves, and Mets promises to be a spectacle for the rest of 2025.

The spectacle is even more guaranteed with Acuña's incredible return to the Braves' RF team after a year's absence. The Venezuelan is back as if he'd never been there due to a knee injury. Although Acuña had hits in all three games of his comeback series against the Padres, and hit two home runs, the first of them on the first pitch he'd seen in almost a year without taking an MLB at-bat.

The Braves' stars are back, the team has recovered from its 0-7 start and is close to playing .500 baseball. Another returnee who will be facing the dangerous Phillies lineup is Strider, although he didn't have the same dream return as Acuña, and although he hasn't pitched in Atlanta yet, Strider got the Braves to a win the last time he pitched against the Phillies.
